This increases the maximum capacity of its line of portable hard drives by 33 percent from 3TB.
Ideal for SMB users and enterprises who need to store and backup large amounts of data. 1TB capacity bling maintains CANVIO’s compact 3TB form factor. All devices are compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and support USB 3 interfaces.0 and USB 2.0.
CANVIO external drives come in compact and sleek designs with practical features like hard drive head locking technology to prevent hard drive wear, instant ready for use and a variety of capacity options, including 500GB4 and 1, 2, 3 and now 4TB.

The CANVIO PREMIUM is the flagship drive in the family. The stylish beveled aluminum enclosure is available in metallic silver or dark gray. The CANVIO PREMIUM USB Type-A to Type-C5 are available with free Toshiba Storage Security Software for password protection and Toshiba Storage Backup Software which automatically backs up user data at specified intervals. All models are covered by a 3-year warranty.
CANVIO ADVANCE is available in four glossy colors including black, white, blue and red. As with the PREMIUM series, these drives also come with free downloads of Toshiba Storage Backup Software and free password protection software called Storage Security Software.
CANVIO BASICS feature a sleek, minimalist design with matte finish. Perfect for everything from files to photo, video or audio collections.
The CANVIO READY line comes in compact black cases with an elegant embossed pattern. The drives are plug-and-play ready and suitable for storing users’ large file libraries.
