Toshiba CANVIO CONNECT II portable hard drive

January 7, 2015, New York.- Toshiba European division unveils Canvio Connect II portable hard drive. Allows remote access to files stored on drive from PC and mobile devices. Canvio Connect II also comes with 10GB of cloud storage, giving you one-click control over your media collection from anywhere you have access to the Internet. The drive comes in a stylish, lightweight package in five colors. Canvio Connect II now has a maximum capacity of 2TB, and a 3TB version will be available by mid-2015.

Canvio Connect II lets you access your media library from any mobile device. 10GB of cloud storage give you access even when you’re away from home. Simply connect the portable hard drive to your PC and Wi-Fi network.

With the new Canvio Connect II you won’t have to worry about the safety of your data. NTI® Backup Now EZ software^TM Allows you to back up your files or your entire system on Canvio Connect II. Additional reliability is provided by a built-in shock sensor and support for ramp loading technology, which ensures that user files won’t be damaged by accidental bumps and shocks. Drive uses USB 3 for connectivity.0, which allows you to copy files at high speed, but maintains backward compatibility with USB 2.0. It also comes with the preinstalled NTFS driver for Mac.
