Well, and the usual stuff – cats, kids, guests. So the DYSON V8 Absolute has been pushed to its limits, cleaning and picking up debris day after day, fighting clutter and chaos. This is not a simple “quick” test, but a true test of the capabilities, reliability and endurance of the device in conditions close to the field.

Features of the model

This unit has two speeds: one speed for your normal cleaning tasks, and a second speed for your daily chores. The second speed, which the manufacturer calls turbo mode, is suitable for intensive cleaning of heavily soiled floors, carpets, etc.d. It enables you to clean even the most complicated debris quickly.

There is a switch button on the handle, which is very handy because it allows you to easily switch modes without interrupting the cleaning process.

Vacuum cleaner works when you press the trigger button under the handle. On the one hand, it is convenient, because it provides constant control, and you can instantly stop the work if necessary, without losing a second On the other hand, with a regular cleaning, which lasts more than twenty to thirty minutes to press all the time a little tiresome.

Test #1. Power and Pressure

And in the characteristics of DYSON V8 Absolute time is an important component. And here the manufacturer indicates several indicators at once.

And now, after measuring the time, let’s think – is it really so important how many minutes the vacuum cleaner works? Much more interesting is how much garbage it cleans per unit time.

That’s how picky I am

The design of the elevator is very comfortable, but it seems to be the “weakest link”: sometimes you have to exert a little effort to lift or put the motor unit in place, or the door does not close all the way the first time. I have purposely done the cleaning procedure many times, everything works, but a couple of times I was afraid that the “elevator” was broken, I opened-closed it again, everything works fine.

I also don’t have enough storage space for all the attachments. I understand that the vacuum cleaner is vertical, it is not necessary to hide, and a lot of nozzles is better than a little, but they have somewhere to hide.

And the last nag, nag, nag. That’s why the handle has a black mark for normal mode and a clear mark for maximum mode? Yes, there’s the word mah. It’s clear from the switch which mode is on, but it would be more logical if the turbo-mode had two black marks.

I agree with my daughter, it will be hard for us without DYSON V8 Absolute.
