Multicooker Hyundai HYMC-1611: for different recipes

Hyundai HYMC-1611 multicooker is a novelty among various models. So it is especially interesting to see what it can do.

We tested it for a month: we cooked different recipes for pilaf, soups, different porridges, yoghurts, meat, jellies, stews, muffins. So zealously tested that some of them even got better.

It made our life in the countryside much easier: we had no worries about going out while the food was boiling or baking. But in a city apartment the multicooker won’t stay idle either. It’s a real wild card for busy people, isn’t it?.

Hyundai HYMC-1611 Multicooker construction

The dimensions of the body: depth 40 cm, width 31 cm, height 30 cm.

Sloping oval shape of the body without protruding parts. It looks like a motorcyclist’s helmet.

There is a handle, which makes the multicooker easy to carry if necessary.

The power cord can be taken out, it is detachable. Length – 95 cm.

The lid

Opens by pressing the button on the front of the body of the multicooker.

The inside is removable: you have to press the white lever, and the insert can be easily removed.

The steam valve can be removed from the top, it can be dismantled, periodically it needs to be washed.

Impressions

Multicooker Hyundai HYMC-1611 is beautiful, looks great, especially when the control panel display comes on. Neutral and pretty colors that fit in many kitchens. The device is easy to carry from place to place, it’s convenient, if you take it with you to cottage or travel.

Controls

On the side of the Hyundai HYMC-1611 multicooker there is a mechanical power button.

• We press the power button, on the panel the work indication lights up: the silhouette of the pot.
• Then the menu button comes into play, it activates the entire panel. Program list light illuminates, the preset cycle time and heating temperature are displayed. To select the desired program, you need to press the menu button.
• Separate keys are provided for adjusting temperature and time.
• We selected the mode, moved the finger to “start”, and after a couple of seconds the multicooker Hyundai HYMC-1611 begins to heat up. The light stays on only the running program, there is a countdown of time, and on the indication at the drawn pan appears drawn steam, next to light up the inscription “cooking”.
• If you change your mind, to the right of the display, opposite the start button, there is the cancellation of the selected mode. You put your finger in and after a couple of seconds the multicooker turns off.

Impressions

The controls of Hyundai HYMC-1611 are informative and clear. All buttons and labels are large and clear. At first, we even pressed a few times on the label, not on the button itself.

The display shows cooking time and temperature in the modes where it is possible to change it – it is convenient, it is not necessary to look in the instruction manual.

Buttons work not instantly, but after a couple of seconds. It takes some getting used to.

Impressions

There are programs for every occasion and every kind of recipe. Almost all of them have the possibility to change the cooking time and temperature in the Multicooker. It gives you the creative freedom to cook whatever you like and however you like.

A special mention should be made of the Milk porridge program that frees you from standing by the stove in the morning: a healthy and tasty breakfast is cooked in automatic mode. And nothing escapes, I tested it!

And the simmering mode allows to use the multicooker for slow cooking at low about 100 degrees temperatures. Even tough meat becomes tender and tender.

Interesting is the Express mode – it starts with one button and runs for half an hour if the water boils off earlier, it will shut off earlier .

Of course, there is a program for cooking pilaf, and additionally for groats. Cooked both pilaf and buckwheat – quality is excellent.

Pasta lovers will love it: the multicooker lights up when the water is boiling, and you can clearly regulate the cooking time for different pasta products.

It is not quite clear why this multicooker has the pizza mode. How is Baking different from Desserts?. There is not enough information about the set temperature. If this parameter were displayed in all modes, not only in those where it can be changed, it would be ideal.
