Bosch expands its range of professional all-purpose cutters with five new tools:

And the cordless models GOP 18V-28 Professional and GOP 12V-28 Professional. All of them are equipped with the innovative Starlock clamping chuck, jointly developed by Bosch and Fein, the world leaders in oscillating vibrating power tools. Bosch and Fein have thus set a common standard and introduced to the market a new toolholding system that will provide better performance and precision results.
Five new professional universal cutters Bosch, two of them with battery
The GOP 55-36 Professional belongs to the StarlockMax power class. It is the most powerful tool in its class with a 550 Watt output for demanding applications such as cutting grooves in rafters. The 400 Watt GOP 40-30 Professional belongs to the StarlockPlus class and is more precise thanks to the smaller angle of oscillation.
And with built-in LED lighting it’s also perfect for trimming in poorly lit areas, in particular kitchens. The GOP 30-28 Professional, also of the StarlockPlus type, has a power rating of 300 W and is designed for a wide range of applications, for example in plumbing work removing joints in wall and floor tiles .
The GOP 18V-28 Professional cordless rotary cutter, StarlockPlus, has the same performance as the GOP 40-30 Professional – but without cable! The GOP 12V-28 Professional is a Starlock powerhouse and is recommended for light DIY applications such as trimming corners to allow the cabinet to fit snugly into the niche. Cordless multi-purpose cutters offer a wide range of applications. Both models are equipped with brushless electric motor EC, which stands out for its reliability and maintenance-free.
Three power classes: Starlock, StarlockPlus and StarlockMax
Bosch offers a versatile torch in three power classes: Starlock, StarlockPlus and StarlockMax. These models have been designed to optimally match the power of the power tool and the accessories. This ensures a long service life for your tools and accessories. They also allow you to do a wider range of tasks. A total of 32 Starlock accessories, 4 with StarlockPlus and 12 with StarlockMax. Starlock tool accessories are also suitable for StarlockPlus, and for StarlockPlus, StarlockMax. So all 48 accessories are compatible with the StarlockMax and all are backwards compatible with the previous generations of oscillating power tools.
Innovative Snap-In system for tool-free accessory changes
The GOP 55-36 Professional universal cutter, the GOP 40-30 Professional and the GOP 18V-28 Professional cordless universal cutter have the innovative Snap-In system. This makes tool-free accessory changes in seconds! Snap-In functions similarly to a ski attachment. Snap on accessories, snap on the Starlock and you are ready to go. Release lever on tool body for tool removal.

Bosch GOP 55-36 Professional, GOP 40-30 Professional and GOP 30-28 Professional multi-purpose torches available at specialist retailers from October 2016. The GOP 18V-28 Professional and GOP 12V-28 Professional cordless models will be available in 2017. Bosch multi-purpose torches are available in a cardboard box or L-BOXX carrying case with extra accessories.
