European Toshiba announced the introduction of a slim, high-performance internal drive in its 2.5-inch hard drive line that will easily add up to 500GB of storage capacity to laptops and gaming consoles.

Latest addition to the Toshiba L200 family in a 7mm form factor fits both gamers and general users. It is equipped with a Serial ATA 3 interface.0 ATA8 and combines a unique data caching algorithm with buffer management to deliver faster access to your most frequently accessed applications and files.
Toshiba’s new thin HDD incorporates Advanced Format AF , Perpendicular Magnetic Recording PMR and Tunnel Magneto-Resistive TMR Recording technologies for high recording densities, reliability and performance. Data storage security features a built-in shock sensor that increases resistance to vibration and head park technology that protects data during transport.
Optimal performance with the L200 series 7mm hard drive featuring hardware-assisted sequencing NCQ , 8MB buffer and a 5400rpm spindle speed.
The new Toshiba L200 500GB will be available in May 2016 for an estimated retail price of 3,785 Dollars. Two-year warranty period.
