THE AQUAFILTER TRANSFORMS

The new Thomas Vestfalia XT all-news refers to the famous aqua filter for dry vacuuming – it is much more compact and – importantly – easier to use. This has also allowed you to reduce the size of the vacuum cleaner itself. The construction of the aquafilter has also changed: it has taken the form of a closed plastic container and became more hygienic during cleaning. Its cleaning after cleaning is now a matter of minutes: just pour 1 liter of clean water into it, shake it several times and pour out the dirty water. The Aqua-Box is the name of the aqua filter.

The principle of operation of the Advanced AquaFilter has remained unchanged: the airflow first passes through the water wall formed by four counter-flow nozzles, and then through a number of stages of purification. In the water wall, every speck of dust and hair is wet, becoming heavy and sticking to other debris particles. The suspended air then enters the mist of water droplets where the dust particles are spinning in an airy micro-cyclone. Dust particles settle on the Aqua-Box’s wet walls and then drop into the water. The Aqua-Box ensures the highest filtration efficiency 99.99% dust and 100% pollen and provides clean exhaust air. Aqua-Box does not work like other companies’ so-called aquafilters, based on the hookah principle where air flows through the water and therefore only coarse dust is filtered out.

THE AQUA-BOX – THE PROTAGONIST OF 3D CLEANING

The Thomas Vestfalia XT works on the principle of volumetric 3D dust suppression. That means that while you vacuum your surfaces floors, furniture, carpets the clean, wetted air that comes out of the vacuum fills the dust particles that float around the room with moisture. They become heavy and settle down, where they meet the nozzle of the new Thomas Vestfalia XT. That’s how you get rid of dust in two simple steps – neither on the floor, nor on the furniture, nor in the air. The patented water filtration technology in the patented Vestfalia XT always delivers the same powerful suction throughout the cleaning cycle.

SMALL SIZE – UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES

Compared to previous Thomas water-filter models, the new Thomas XT has become significantly more compact: it can be stored neatly in a cupboard. This is made possible primarily by the reduced size of the water filter. But most importantly, the functionality and equipment of the Thomas Vestfalia XT remains at the highest level.

A large number of wet and dry vacuum cleaner heads are kept in the original Thomas bag, and the frequently used upholstery and crevice cleaner heads can be stowed away in the tool holder on the cover: they are always at hand. The Thomas Vestfalia XT includes: a switchable brush head for dry cleaning of hard surfaces and carpets, a Turbo Brush, a nozzle for cleaning upholstered furniture, a 360 mm long crevice nozzle, a wet spray nozzle with an integrated switchable adapter for carpet and hard surfaces, a spray nozzle for upholstered furniture, the Thomas ProTex carpet cleaner and floor polishing concentrate.

And of course, the new Thomas Vestfalia XT does a great job on carpets, scrubbing them down to the pile, giving them back their bright, well-groomed look.
