This model belongs to the new generation of Thomas XT vacuum cleaners, which engineers from Thomas solved several problems. Thomas’ famous aqua filter has never had a lid, and cleaning it was not as easy and hygienic as you would have liked. The new and improved design of the Aqua-Box. There, the air stream is first sprayed with water jets, passing through the water wall formed by the four counter-jet nozzles, and then through a series of cleaning stages.
The water wall wets every dust particle and hair, they become heavy and stick together with other debris particles. Then the air with this suspension enters the “mist” of water droplets, where dust particles are rotated in the air micro-cyclones. Dust particles don’t make it to the Aqua-Box’s wet walls due to lack of airflow, so they tend to collect on the wet walls and then drop into the water afterwards. After use the Aqua-Box is easy to clean: just pour clean water into it, shake it several times and pour it out. Aqua-Box has been optimized, making the cleaner more compact.
The kit includes a large number of nozzles and attachments. The model can pick up spills.
