The quietest projectors from NEC

NEC Display Solutions has introduced two new laser projectors with WXGA and WUXGA resolution, which are quiet and do not disturb meetings and presentations. The NEC P525 laser projectors deliver superb image quality with the absence of the noise normally associated with traditional projection devices. They have a low noise level of only 22 dB, and run quieter than a clock.

In addition, the projectors are designed with the future technology in mind: they support high resolution 4K input signal with a refresh rate of 30 Hz, and thanks to the laser source can last up to 20,000 hours. Since the LCD optical laser engine is completely sealed, no lamps or filters need to be replaced throughout use and they retain their high brightness without excessive maintenance costs.

The new NEC projectors have extensive connectivity options and optional WiFi support for time-saving work, while the built-in MultiPresenter function allows for wireless presentations, and the image can be displayed on the same screen simultaneously up to 16 devices. Projectors work “out of the box”, no need to set up. Meanwhile, as the device falls into the second risk category Risk Group 2 , it does not require any special precautions, which saves installation and operating costs.

Low power consumption offers tangible savings and reduces the carbon footprint: in normal operation, the projectors draw just 330 watts.

“Our P525WL and P525UL projectors set new standards for noise levels when used in meetings or presentations,” said Alistair Round, Commercial Solutions Manager, NEC Display Solutions Europe. – The data in the presentation can be fully visualized, but we can’t turn off our senses – especially our hearing. Intrusive projector noise can be distracting from the information on the screen. It interferes with concentration, productive teamwork, and makes people raise their voices. People need to be able to focus on a presentation, video or other material without being distracted by projector noise, so we designed these two 5000 lumens ANSI projectors as silent devices. As a manufacturer of the world’s leading display technology, we’re not just thinking about visuals, we’re thinking about how to improve the overall experience.”.

“The new NEC projectors are a great example of this approach. They create a sense of quiet and calm in teamwork, allowing teams to collaborate more effectively, share ideas. With the P525WL and P525UL models, scalable visuals have never been so good and so quiet,” concludes Elister.
