DLA-X900R and X700R projectors from JVC

The main features of the new JVC range:

1. Highest brightness in its class thanks to a heavy-duty lamp

JVC’s D-ILA reduced pixel pitch achieves high light output and sharp images. New 265W heavy-duty lamp also improves image quality and brightness when compared with the earlier X900R, X700R and X500R series.

DLA-X9000 1900 lumens +46%

DLA-X7000 1800 lumens +38%

DLA-X5000 1700 lumens +30%

This brightness boost enables clear images on large screens even in natural lighting, such as those used in living rooms.

2. The highest contrast ratio available

JVC products boast an industry-leading 150,000:1 native contrast ratio DLA-X9000 .

It is achieved due to a new optical processor designed especially for JVC D-ILA imaging devices, a super high power lamp and the Intelligent Lens Aperture function.

3. HDR high dynamic range technology support

HDR high dynamic range technology means there is a greater difference between the lightest and darkest colors and a wider color gamut. Combined with a high-power lamp and a high natural contrast ratio, this technology in JVC’s new projectors delivers equally brilliant images in bright and dark areas, which results in incomparably higher quality than conventional projectors.

4. Support for latest HDMI/HDCP 2 standards.2

With 4K resolution becoming more popular and the imminent release of the next-generation Blu-ray, JVC added HDMI/HDCP 2 support to its products.2, which allows two devices to be directly connected to protect 4K content.

These next-generation HDMI inputs allow for transport speeds up to 18Gbps, which makes it possible to transmit all 4K formats, including 4K60p 4:4:4, 4K60p 4:2:2/36bit and 4K24p 4:4:4/36bit. Therefore, support HDMI/HDCP 2 standards.2 Enhances color reproduction and smoothness with JVC’s new D-ILA projectors.

5. Advanced “e-shift4” technology by JVC

JVC’s e-shift4 technology shifts a pixel by 0.5 pixel diagonally to deliver high definition 4K 3840×2160 pixels .

To further improve the image clarity of the new range of projectors, the company has optimized this technology to work with the 4K60p format and provide higher brightness.

6. New Multiple Pixel Control technology for a more natural and widescreen 4K image

“Multiple Pixel Control,” JVC’s second proprietary technology to improve picture quality. It is designed based on super-resolution technology using a unique JVC algorithm.

Enhanced “Multiple Pixel Control” technology uses a new algorithm that delivers optimum high clarity for a variety of scene types. Auto Mode allows the user to enjoy a “picture” with 4K resolution, creating a fully immersive experience without having to make complex image adjustments.

7. New “Motion Enhance” motion blur reduction technology

In addition to the original “Clear Motion Drive” technology that reduces motion blur, the new JVC projectors also use the new “Motion Enhance” technology. Reduces motion blur by optimizing the drive of the D-ILA. More importantly, this technology can work in 4K resolution and in 3D mode, recreating clear and smooth motion in the frame.

8. THX 3D certified DLA-X9000, DLA-X7000

The DLA-X900R and X700R are THX 3D certified to bring high-quality 2D and 3D images to the home.

This certification is based on over 400 tests that assess color accuracy, crosstalk, viewing angle, video processing, and other attributes. The certificate guarantees you a high-definition picture quality that will give the customer an indelible experience for a long time.

JVC has now applied for the certification of the DLA-X9000 and DLA-X7000 products in accordance with this standard.

9. Auto Calibration Function” to adjust the image according to the projector environment

The auto-calibration function of JVC’s new range of projectors allows the optimum image to be obtained under different operating conditions using an optical sensor offered by third-party companies. In addition, the optical sensor compensates for color imbalances that can occur during prolonged use.
