Sony NEX-5, one of the best mirrorless cameras of its time, in our opinion, still had some limitations and shortcomings – not to downgrade the overall rating of the camera, but can cause some inconvenience to users. The updated NEX-5N has so many advantages that its future owners will be more than once amazed by the camera abilities and capabilities.

The design of the camera remains almost unchanged: The same exceptionally compact body with a very low profile that allows the camera to be carried in a small slim bag and even carried in a regular jacket pocket when mounted with a Compact pill-type lens.
Considering its fair price – the NEX-5N is already in stores for about the same price as the NEX-5 – it firmly takes its place as one of the best mirrorless cameras. And also the title representative of the very concept of compact “system” cameras: it is tiny, lightweight, easy to operate and produces the results comparable with the best DSLRs.
