Buying the NEX-6 in light of the Sony A6000 does not seem attractive enough. As similar as these devices are, the new one has noticeably more advanced stuffing, and the price difference is less than 2,000 Dollars. The expected significant reduction in price of the older model was not achieved, apparently due to the stable demand.

Functionally the NEX-6 is not much inferior to the A6000, and the larger viewfinder area may attract former DSLR users.
