In addition, the PowerShot N100 can combine Hybrid Auto and Dual Capture so your facial expression is automatically recorded on video for two seconds before and after the shot. At the end of the day, these video clips are combined into a 720p movie that tells the story of the shoot that wasn’t captured in the frame.
The new Story Highlights mode is a great way to tell your story effortlessly, without having to edit the files yourself. This mode automatically compiles your movie clips into a commemorative video album for online viewing and sharing. Thanks to a unique algorithm and the powerful DIGIC 6 processor, the camera analyzes images and creates a video album, selecting recordings by subject, date or even persons who are registered in the camera. Preserve memories to relive them with a dedicated Favourite button, which tags videos and photos you want and saves them in a dedicated album.
Share your stories
It’s easy to share your next story with the PowerShot N100, as Wi-Fi support allows you to upload files to the internet[i]. Camera connects easily to your smartphone: just press the customizable connect button on your NFC-enabled mobile device and start sharing using Canon’s CameraWindow app. A button to connect to your mobile device also makes it easy to back up your files to cloud services like Google Drive™ or Flickr™ via CANON iMAGE GATEWAY .
You can also use the CameraWindow app to remotely control the PowerShot N100 from your smartphone screen. Use your smartphone to easily control the camera’s basic functions – zoom, flash, shutter release and self-timer – to take great group shots with you or capture wildlife or birds from a distance.
