Everything is pretty standard: plastic body with a removable water tank. Already a learner, I was quickly able to fix the rack. For all new users, let me explain: you need to unscrew the clamp completely out of the body, then, after installing the rack, screw it clockwise.
I adjusted the rack to the maximum height, and then I faced a surprise: if you believe the instructions, you need to put a hanger on it. But there are no holes in the coat hanger, and logically it should be attached to the handle of the steam iron holder. The instructions obviously took the wrong picture of the hanger with. 10 , I was rescued from the deadlock by the photo on the last cover – there everything is just as it should be logically: the coat hanger is hanging on the hook of the holder.
A little bit of fiddling with the installation of the steam line – there’s such a clever system of holes and slots – you have to look carefully to get to. Then I tightened the nut and it’s done.
The steamer rides easily around the room, which is a definite plus.
In the kit, there are a lot of interesting accessories: note the clothespins for pants and skirts, as well as the nozzle with a fine lint pad, which can clean clothes. There’s even a bottom trouser clip that allows you to conveniently smooth out your arrows.
CONTROL
The main control panel is on the body. This is the round mode switch. It is too tight on the device we have received, not particularly ergonomic.
Switching it, you can choose one of the 4 modes. When I turn it on, the indicator light comes on to tell me that the steamer is working.
The iron itself has a steam button with a light indicator, a steam mode switch from mini to max and a light indicator of soleplate heating, which lights up while it is heating up like on stationary irons .
The corresponding indicator light comes on when I press the button. The only inconvenience: in order to start or stop the steam, you need to wait, and the waiting time is long enough – more than 30 seconds. Because of this button does not always perform its task: for example, when I went to open the front door, I heard the hiss of steam from the hallway, even though I turned it off before leaving the room.
THE WORK
The actual set up time is less than the advertised time – it steamed in 45 seconds.
I read in the manual that it has “a horizontal stripping option, you can steam pillows, mattresses, blankets”. And that the “steam iron, unlike a standard universal nozzle, is a real small triangular-shaped iron. It has an additional heating element which prevents the formation of condensation and excessive moisture in the fabric. Checked out these setups. Indeed, no water flowed out of the soleplate, only steam. Both vertically and horizontally the iron performed excellently! Didn’t even expect that from him. Ironed everything I suggested: blouses and shirts on the hanger, a bedding set with a duvet cover on the ironing board. Handled everything pretty quickly and neatly.
THE CARE
The manufacturer recommends the use of distilled or filtered water. Once a month or every 20 liters of water consumption should be cleaned, which consists of 2 parts: cleaning of the water tank and mechanical cleaning of the heating element of the limescale.
