Although everything is clear, I encountered two problems when I first assembled the steamer. First of all, there is no way to fix the stand in the hole. The manual says: “Insert the assembled rack in the hole on the body of the steamer and turn it clockwise. You actually have to unscrew the plastic holder completely, put the rack into it and then screw the holder onto the body, then the rack is held firmly and stands stable. The second “confusion” concerns the installation of the hanger and the hook for the ironing brush. Long I twisted them, in the end, all installed, but I was left with an “extra” part – a plastic tube with a thread, with it there was no way to push the tube up to fasten the hook. Well, in general, I figured it out and in 5-7 minutes I assembled the steamer.
The wheels are small, so moving the device around the room is not particularly convenient, but it is not difficult, because it is lightweight.
Not very clear how to use the trouser clip and a device for ironing collars, the instructions are not a word about it. Apparently, the manufacturers hope for “advanced” users.
The hose with ironing brush should be hung on the special stand, which is attached to the stand. Can not say that it is securely fixed there, I kept looking at it with apprehension: it seemed that it would fall down. But this did not happen, the hose was hanging in place.
CONTROL
Steamer should be plugged into a socket, and then turn the switch on the body. The steam regulator has several settings: Silk, Polyester, Cotton, Flax. Each mode is switched with a click.
The switch itself is big, handy, does not jam. But the fact that it is on the bottom of the body is not very convenient. You have to “bow” to reach it. But it is the general lack at such class of technics.
WORK
In total, this steamer has four modes: Silk, Polyester, Cotton and Flax.
Droplets of water and steam kept coming out, even with Len mode. Here is what the manufacturer says on this occasion: “Try not to bend the steam pipe. The steam line can bend and water drips with the steam. In doing so, the amount of steam will be greatly reduced. Lift the handle up for 2-3 seconds and the problem disappears.”.
I had to do it that way, although I would not say that the steam line was noticeably kinked.
However, the steamer copes pretty well with its task – putting your clothes in order. Jacket smoothed, including tough spots – shoulders and armpits.
But it is not recommended to put it on at once, since the thing is a little damp after the steam treatment, it is better to dry it.
The steam generator easily copes with synthetic fabrics. I also steamed fleece in Len mode. The lint is lifted, the thing became more fluffy and neat.
CARE
It is possible to clean the water tank with a mixture of water and vinegar 50% to 50% . Procedure takes about 40-50 minutes, the manufacturer says nothing about its regularity, it all depends on the water hardness and frequency of use.
OVERALL IMPRESSION
Affordable steamer for those who occasionally need to take care of things hanging on the rack. Will help refresh fuzzy garments, freshen up and get rid of creases in jackets, coats. Controls are simple, maintenance is uncomplicated.
Compact for its class , functional.
The cord is short if the socket is located highly , control only on the body – you have to bend down to the switch.
