OPERATING FEATURE

This steam cooker is a real old timer on the American market. Enthusiastic reviews from owners and the German reliability of the steam cooker have allowed it to remain in demand for many years.

The first thing that attracts attention is the opacity of the walls of the steam cooker and the fact that each bowl has its own tray for condensation, so you can safely cook any food at the same time: flavors and tastes do not mix up. special container for food that can cause stains.

There is no possibility to refill the water during the steam cooker operation, but it suffices for the whole cycle. Manufacturers recommend pouring the minimum level if the cooking time is less than 18 minutes, and the maximum level – if more than 18 minutes.

CONTROL FEATURES

On the rotary switch, the timer’s numbers indicate intervals from 0 to 60 minutes in “increments” of 5 minutes, i.e. 5, 10, 15, etc. d., but if you want you can set the cooking time accurate to one minute: that’s the value of each stroke inside the 5-minute interval.

Knob must be turned all the way down for 60 minutes., The only disadvantage of this program is that sometimes you forget about it.

ERGONOMICS

BRAUN is known for its perfection in every detail. Note here the reliable plastic of good quality which can easily survive many falls on the floor and the easy care of the bowls. The holes are very large, so they do not have to be scrubbed with a brush.

By the way, the bowls can be cleaned not only by hand, but also in the dishwasher. The rotary switch is large and easy to use, with a smooth action and clear markings that do not wear off over time tried and tested by long-time users . On the front panel are very clear and understandable pictures for beginner cooks: egg, chicken, rice bowl, fish, apple, carrot.

Next to the picture is the cooking time, so you don’t have to constantly check the instructions. Handle of the lid is thin – it’s convenient to take it with an oven mitt. The bottom of the body has a closed compartment to store the cord, the length of the cord is conveniently adjustable, it does not dangle and does not interfere: it can be simply pushed into the body. The cord itself is thick, unmarked, but by the looks of it – three-core. Cord length – 95 cm.
