The juicer is quick and easy to assemble and disassemble. Thanks to the strong suction cups it is firmly fixed on the work surface. The bowl for pulp was filled to the maximum level while juicing different fruits and vegetables with a total weight of about 2.5 kg. No “drop-stop” system in the spout. Filter

The filter has a smooth surface, making it easier to clean. In addition, all pulp accumulates in the container, not on the adjacent surfaces. And lastly, juice and pulp containers can be washed in the dishwasher.

The container for pulp is built in, which means that when it is full, you must unplug the juicer, take it apart, clean the container and put it back together again. Doesn’t sound very reassuring, but it’s actually not a big deal at all.

Berry tray

The kit has a tray for berries, similar to those found in meat grinders. Thanks to its presence, you don’t have to throw one berry at a time into the throat, but you can pour them directly into the tray, where they will fall into the throat of the juicer, as into a wide funnel.

By the way, when I was making grape juice, clean grape pips flew up from the neck, such is the speed of processing.The juicer is noisy like all centrifugal juicers. Continuous running time – 5 minutes, after that we need to take a break.

Functionality

The Philips HR1864/00 juicer produces juice with a minimum amount of pulp, so there is little difference in weight before and after filtration. Grape and orange juices did not need to be filtered, that’s why they are placed on the right side of the table.

The results are very good: for pumpkin the best in the test, for apples the second best. The grapes and oranges have also been squeezed thoroughly. The juice is almost pulp-free and smooth. The pulp is dry, well chopped, not a shame to throw it away. True, when making pumpkin juice, two small pieces did not grind, remained intact. I found them when I took the device apart. Apparently in a hurry to turn it off.

The juicer can also be used at the cottage: it is highly productive, it can cope with an abundant harvest, but at the same time is suitable for making a small amount of juice. Producers managed to achieve versatility and create a device that will be in demand all year round.
