Design and ergonomics

Blender

  • The body is combined: the middle part is made of metal, the part that usually lies in the hand – of anti-slip plastic. Although the blender body is heavy, it is easy to hold thanks to its slim shape.
  • Buttons are wide, convenient to press, no need to exert effort and your manicure will not suffer.
  • The power cord is long – 1.45 m, you can stand far enough away from the power outlet when working.
  • On the bottom of the case on the sides there are buttons, which must be pressed simultaneously when changing attachments.

Blender attachment

Metal. The plastic part on the top – where it attaches to the blender housing. Non-slip plastic, pleasant to the touch.

Metal knife. Two long multidirectional blades, one facing inside the “skirt”, the other slightly upwards. Two short accessory blades on the sides.

“Skirt” is wide but not deep, no wavy curves, with three slots and three notches for gripping products when blending.

Whisk

Metal, durable, firmly fixed in the base made of anti-slip plastic.

Chopper

Cup made of transparent plastic. There are four plastic covers on the bottom to decrease bowl’s sliding on the table. The maximum volume is 500 ml. The scale shows capacities of 100, 300 and 500 ml. On the other side of the case there is a scale marked in fl.oz – 8 and 16.

Plastic lid. Inserted into the bowl only in a certain position, secured by turning it clockwise. There are three “locks” on the sides of the lid that hold the bowl. The attachment is simple but robust. In the closed position the chopper can be lifted by the lid.

Sharp S-shaped blade is on a plastic holder that expands downward for better grip and blending.

Glass

Made of transparent plastic with a wide rim on top.

On one side there is a scale from 100 to 800 ml in 100 ml increments and next to it there is data in fl.oz from 4 to 28 in increments of 4. Figures are not very well visible if the glass is empty or there is a white mixture in it.

The Starwind SBP3524 blender has two blender modes and continuously adjustable rotation speed.

The control panel consists of two buttons on the front panel and a rotary knob on top of the body.

  • The blender works only by pressing the buttons.
  • The regulator can be turned in the first operating mode.
  • The second mode is turbo: the nozzle rotates at maximum speed, higher than the maximum of the first mode.

Light indicator – backlight around the knobs and control knob. It is not only convenient, but beautiful.

Testing

As always, replaced the homemade blender with a test blender for two weeks and everyone in the house used the new device and appreciated its capabilities.

The weather outside is conducive to making hot puree soups, so we started the test with pureeing pumpkin soup.

The manual says for some reason that “the temperature of the food should not be higher than 70 ° C”. This recommendation applies to cooking in a glass and chopper. I used the blender nozzle to puree the soup boiling in the pot and it turned out great.

The blender attachment coped with the preparation of curd mass from 200 g of cottage cheese as well as with making morsels of frozen cranberries.

The whisk does a great job whipping egg whites 2 whites in about a couple minutes for scrambled eggs and makes liquid batter for pancakes. Handled even thick dough for Belgian waffles.

We used the chopper to make a Caesar sauce and a green basil pesto. It manages to shred not only the delicate leaves but also a fairly dense part of the stem.

Every day for a couple or three minutes the blender chopped and stirred. With all the tasks he handled successfully.
