Personalized approach to TV recording
Toshiba brings together Ultra HD resolution and MediaGuide Replay support for the first time on U-Series TVs. This “smart” function, which was previously used in L74-series TVs, automatically develops personalized recommendations for users based on their preferences. The updated MediaGuide Replay service will offer TV programs for each family member to record, based on previous viewing history. Also, users will be able to control the service with their mobile devices, including remote control.
A great viewing experience
Support for CEVO Picture Technology along with 4K resolution will provide the new items with high image detail and true-to-life color reproduction. Achieve a truly bright picture with a rich color palette will allow improved LED-backlit. Thanks to the technology of hardware restoration the image will be reproduced almost in the same quality as it was before the compression: every detail will be visible on the screen.
See more in UltraHD
All U Series televisions will support the latest HEVC decoding technology. It allows you to watch videos from the Internet, SD-cards or USB-drives in Ultra HD quality. HEVC codec offers better compatibility with 4K/60p content, so users can enjoy their favorite movies with stunning clarity and detail.
The design of U-Series TV sets is all about refinement and elegance in a glossy body with a slim chrome stand. First deliveries of Toshiba U-Series 4K TVs to the American market are expected in early 2015. The cost of devices will be announced closer to the launch date.
