New M Lens.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm F4 PRO inherits the optical design from the 12-40mm F2.8 PRO, which is well known for its high optical performance. The precise positioning of the special lenses in the M.The Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm F4 makes it the world’s most compact and lightweight lens, with focal lengths from 24mm to 90mm 35mm equivalent . Small and very lightweight focusing lens provides high-speed and accurate autofocus for any subject. Lens features 9 seals to protect against dust, splashes and freezing temperatures – the user can have peace of mind about their equipment in almost any shooting conditions.

The precision aspherical lens arrangement and ZERO Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical coating deliver sharp images and sharply suppress almost all types of aberration, resulting in sharp, bright images throughout the frame. Because the aperture is fixed across the entire focal length, it is easier and more convenient for the user to control exposure when zooming in and out.

Enjoy macro photography with a maximum magnification of 0.25x 35mm equivalent: 0.5x at all focal lengths. Minimum focus distance of just 12 cm at wide angle and 23 cm at telephoto. This extends the range of macro photography from wide-angle macro shots that accentuate the subject to telephoto macro shots with incredibly attractive bokeh. The lens is compatible with Focus Stacking mode, which stacks several images with focus on different areas of the scene into a single image that is sharp throughout the frame.
