M.Zuiko Digital ED12-200mm F3.5-6.3 u
sets a new standard in zoom lenses for mirrorless cameras with an impressive 16× zoom ratio.6x and superb image quality throughout the entire zoom range. Fast, high-precision autofocus, compact body and protection against dust, splashes and freezing temperatures make this versatile lens the perfect tool for landscape, portrait and street photography.
The design of the new lens consists of 16 elements in 11 groups and includes many special elements, including: 3 aspherical lenses, 2 Super ED and 2 ED lenses, 1 Super HR lens and 2 HR. All of these are used to minimise spherical, chromatic aberrations, coma and other distortions, and the optional Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical ZERO coating effectively suppresses flare and ghosting, resulting in sharp, high-contrast images.
M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-200mm F3.5-6.3 provides a Movie and Still Compatible MSC focusing mechanism that delivers fast, smooth, quiet and precise autofocus, perfect for movies. But at the same time, the lens lacks a stabilization system, so users have to rely on the camera’s built-in stabilization.
Although the lens is not in the PRO series, the body is protective against humidity, sand and dust, allowing you to shoot in the harshest and most hostile weather conditions.
