Combining the powerful High Efficiency Video Codec HEVC compression algorithm with the industry’s most popular Material eXchange Format MXF container, Canon has developed the XF-HEVC file format. The HEVC standard, which relies on the latest encoding technology, is about twice as efficient as traditional H.264/AVC.
