Netgear introduces the worldā€™s fastest enterprise desktop NAS: the ReadyNAS 716

New York ā€“ November 20, 2013 ā€“ On November 20, 2013 NETGEAR, a global manufacturer of innovative networking products, announced a new storage system ReadyNAS 716 RN716X . It supports 10GbE network infrastructure and is the fastest NAS in the world in desktop form factor. ReadyNAS 716 with six disk bays and up to 24TB maximum capacity and 84TB with optional expansion modules for easy storage and maximum performance. Supporting the bandwidth up to 10GE, ReadyNAS 716 is the only NAS on the market today that is able to stream multiple Blu-ray files simultaneously. The ReadyNAS 716 model complements the ReadyNAS product series readynas.netgear .

ReadyNAS 716 supports SATA hard drives up to 4TB , SSDs and has 3 eSATA expansion ports for scaling capacity as business needs grow up to 84TB .
