Netgear introduced ReadyNAS 200, a series of personal cloud storage solutions for home users

New York, February 20, 2015 – Netgear® NASDAQ: NTGR netgear.The company, a global networking company that serves home, business and service provider customers, has expanded its family of network attached storage NAS products and introduced the ReadyNAS® 200 Series for home and office.

New Netgear NAS systems are capable of transferring files at up to 200 Mbytes per second. New products from Netgear are great for storage, protection and transfer of data.

The devices are available in two- and four-disk desktop versions models RN202, RN204 and are designed primarily for everyone who needs to store large amounts of audio, video and photo content . The series presented at CES 2015 has already won the CES Innovations Award in the category “Computer Accessories”.

ReadyNAS 200 technical base – it’s a dual-core CPU Cortex A15 with the clock frequency of 1,4 GHz, 2Gb RAM and two Gigabit Ethernet ports with the support of aggregation. Performance and speed can surprise even the savvy consumer, especially when running on a WiFi network using the 802 802 standard.11ac. Today ReadyNAS can transfer data at the speed up to 200 Mbytes per second, which is twice the speed of similar devices from other manufacturers.
