NEC introduces new generation 27 displays for the first time

NEC Display Solutions Europe today announced its latest generation of MultiSync displays for a more comfortable and productive work environment. In order to see multiple open application windows of the same size on most traditional 24-inch corporate office displays, many employees use two displays. The new family of NEC MultiSync displays features a 27″ screen size for more readable applications and better control of multiple windows open at the same time.

New MultiSync® displays from NEC introduces the flagship PA271Q for office workers and creative professionals. With superior color management capabilities and outstanding ergonomics, the PA271Q delivers industry-leading color reproduction with the SprectraView® Engine and built-in color calibration software. Users can simply plug their external calibration probe into the device’s USB port and immediately select the desired calibration target from the on-screen menu.

The device also allows users to get rid of clutter on their desktop by connecting USB Type-C on the display, making it easy to manage video, audio, power and USB with just one cable. In addition, users can maximize image quality with NEC Uniformity Control features that provide perfect uniformity in multi-screen installations with a single click in the OSD menu.

Jan Gr&auml f , Product Manager for Desktop Displays at NEC Display Solutions Europe said: “Dual displays are becoming more common in the workplace, particularly amongst creative professionals, who find that the traditional 24-inch displays are not good enough for the multiple windows of the applications they use. This organization of the workplace can be uncomfortable and reduce productivity, so the new line of 27-inch displays NEC focused on giving the user the opportunity to work with one screen in the center, eliminating the need to rotate your head.

“NEC understands the relationship between creativity and productivity on the one hand, and user comfort on the other. Therefore the new MultiSync® PA271Q is designed with a focus on comfortable ergonomics and incorporates robust color and brightness management features with NEC SpectraView built-in color management, and brightness adjustment via a built-in backlight sensor. These features ensure that the user is always in full control of his work and at the same time gets the comfort needed for creativity.

In addition to the PA271Q, the new MultiSync® family includes the entry-level E271N and the more advanced EA271F corporate display.

These new generation 27″ displays by NEC sound intriguing! Can you provide more information on their key features, such as screen resolution, color accuracy, and connectivity options? Additionally, is there any significant improvement in terms of energy efficiency or ergonomic design compared to previous models? It would be helpful to know the target audience or specific industry these displays are aimed at. Thank you!
