Intelā€™s developments received the highest praise at CES 2016

On innovations and collaborations to bring new capabilities to peopleā€™s everyday lives. And many of these innovations, from drones and wearable devices to new PC and tablet products, have won prestigious awards.

Intel technologies, products and partner projects took the top spots in the category of drones, wearable devices, etc.

Intelā€™s leadership in integrating human senses into technology, for example, has been recognized with several awards. Engadget*, PC Magazine*, The Verge* and Videomaker* named the IntelĀ® Atomā„¢ processor-powered Yuneec Typhoon H* the best drone unveiled at CES 2016. Thanks to IntelĀ® RealSenseā„¢ technology, the Yuneec Typhoon H* is able to avoid collisions with surrounding objects, supports user tracking and 4K camera functionality. CNET*, Gizmodo* and Reuters* also included this drone in their rankings of the best new products at CES.

PBS*, Reuters* and Wired* have included the Ninebot* Segway* robot in their reviews of the best solutions presented at CES. Powered by the Intel Atom processor, the Ninebot Segway* robot, which can also be used as a personal vehicle, uses Intel RealSense technology to move in challenging environments and interact with the user.

In the wearable device segment, the DAQRI Smart Helmet* development based on Intel RealSense technology and the IntelĀ® Coreā„¢ M processor was included in BGRā€™s Best of CES Review*. Additionally, Engadget* has named Reconā€™s Snow2-powered Empire EVS* e-mask as a best wearable device. Recon Instruments, an Intel-owned company, helped Empire Paintball* create a smart paintball mask that gives users instant access to all tactical data.
