The lens is dust and splash proof with eight sealing points on the barrel. These seals guarantee protection against rain, dust and splashing water when shooting outdoors. Additionally, it can operate in sub-zero temperatures down to -10 .

Hoods prevent flare and ghosting and deliver maximum optical performance. Two types of lens hoods are available for the XF35mmF2 R WR.
A lightweight and compact ring hood is included, and a classic and stylish metal hood LH-XF35-2 is available as an optional accessory. Both lens hoods allow you to use the front lens cap.

FUJINON XF1.4X TC WR is a high-performance teleconverter capable of magnifying the focal length of installed lenses*1 1.4 times.
Even though the tele conversion lens increases the aperture by one stop when the lens is mounted, the precision optical design of the unit has 7 elements in 3 groups to maintain the high image quality of the original lens.
In addition, the unified design of the teleconverter means that it can be used with compatible lenses*1 to guarantee dust and splash-proof operation and shoot down to -10°C. This makes it suitable for outdoor use in combination with the weatherproof and dustproof X-T1 and XF50-140mmF2 lenses.8 R LM OIS WR.
MAIN FEATURES
High image quality by retaining the optical characteristics of the original lens
7-element, 3-group construction preserves the optical characteristic of the original lens.
At optimum shooting settings, the teleconverter delivers outstanding image quality and effectively reduces aberrations even at 1.4X the focal length.
Once the teleconverter is installed, the camera displays and records information about changes in aperture and focal length.
Teleconverter does not reduce the original autofocus performance of the camera
Once the teleconverter is installed, the original autofocus speed provided by the lens is maintained.
Live View contrast detection function allows you to shoot with the minimum aperture opening even though the aperture increases by one stop after the teleconverter is set. The autofocusing at sensor level also enables high AF accuracy in super telephoto mode with shallow depth of field.
Dust-proof and freezeproof down to -10 °C
When using the tele conversion lens with weatherproof cameras and lenses, such as FUJIFILM X-T1 and FUJINON XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR, the entire system will be weatherproof.
