Fujifilm is expanding its lineup of lenses for the X series with the new FUJINON XF16mm F2.8 R WR. This is a compact lens with high AF performance and weighs only 155g, offering exceptional image clarity and a body design that protects against harsh weather conditions.
The optical design consists of 10 elements in 8 groups, including two aspherical elements. Optimal aspherical lens arrangement suppresses spherical aberration and curvature of field while maintaining high detail across the entire image area.
XF16mmF2.8 R WR uses an internal stepper motor-driven focusing system that delivers fast, quiet and accurate autofocus.
The metal body creates a premium look while it has 9 seals that reliably protect internal components from moisture, sand and dust. The lens also maintains its performance in temperatures down to -10°C, making it the ideal choice for shooting in a variety of situations.
XF16mmF2.8 R WR will join the range of compact, lightweight and stylish lenses currently including the FUJINON XF23mmF2 R WR, XF35mmF2 R WR and XF50mmF2 R WR
