DT 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 SAM II zoom lens
This new lens replaces the popular DT 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 SAM, which appeared in 2011. The lightweight, compact 3x zoom lens covers the often-used range of focal lengths from a wide-angle 18mm to the standard 55mm equivalent range for a 35mm camera: 27-82.5mm .
Like its predecessor, it retains the same smooth SAM autofocus drive. However, the rear lens elements have been redesigned to suppress flare and ghost images, and its mechanical elements have been upgraded to make lens operation more precise and comfortable.
New accessories for Sony cameras and camcorders
The HVL-F20M is a new compact and portable flash for cameras equipped with the Multi Interface Shoe. The flash is ideal for low-light photography and for portraits and interiors.
Despite its compact size, it packs professional features like wireless control, which is convenient when using multiple flashes, ambient light shooting and automatic white balance compensation for more accurate and natural color reproduction. The flash can be used easily: just pop the flash head up to turn it on … and when you don’t need it, pop it down to turn it off.
RM-VPR1 wired remote control for easy zoom control and start/stop video recording. Compatible with an ever-expanding line of cameras &lsquo α’ with mount A A-mount and E E-mount , Cyber-shot™ cameras and Handycam® camcorders equipped with a universal multi-interface terminal, . A shutter release lock function is also provided, ideal when shooting with cameras &lsquo α’ at “handheld shutter speeds. Two cables are provided with this remote control. One for cameras/video cameras with multi-interface terminal and the other for easy shutter release in camera shooting &lsquo α’ with A-mount cameras equipped only with a remote control terminal.
