Electrolux Ideas Lab – inspiring the future

New York, America – June 27, 2016. The world leader in home appliances Electrolux has presented a new format of the international innovation competition Ideas Lab, which inspires to create creative ideas for the home.

The Electrolux Design Lab, the international competition for innovation in appliances, created to support young designers around the world, is completely changing the rules, format and name of the competition.

Anyone can participate in the contest, as long as they are over 18 years old. By pre-registering online, electrolux ideaslab.com, participants will be able to submit their applications one week before the official start of the contest. Submissions from contestants not registered on the site will be accepted from August 15.

Electrolux announces a global competition for creative ideas for those who care about the delicious, healthy and innovative home cooking of the future. The contest accepts any idea: smartphone apps, food-sharing programs, kitchen gadgets, helpful tips, or full-fledged business projects. Electrolux Ideas Lab has no limits for ideas.

The winner will receive not only €10,000 as a prize, but also an unforgettable trip to Sweden. Within 5 days, in Stockholm, one of the European capitals of the number of start-ups, the winner will receive expert support for his idea to take his project to the next level.
