Metabo launches four new SDS-plus drills in the 2 kg class. The KHE 2660 Quick and KHE 2860 Quick heavy-duty combination hammers and UHE 2660-2 Quick and UHEV 2860-2 Quick multi hammers are great for extended hours of demanding work. With high-performance impactors with single-impact energies up to 3.4 J, these new tools are among the strongest in their class.

They lie perfectly in your hand for everything – from drilling dowel holes to chipping ceramic tiles to countersinking junction boxes – thanks to their ideal center of gravity and the shortest overall length of any rotary hammers on the market.
Metabo is also introducing the only professional drills on the market with a die-cast aluminum gear housing that offer maximum resistance to wear, long life and the highest technical requirements for construction, interior fitting or renovation. The entire production cycle for the new hammer drills is done in the Swabian town of Nürtingen, where the headquarters of Me-tabo is located.

Powerful Metabo Marathon motors combined with high-performance percussion engines guarantee dynamic drilling and thus fast work progress. The ergonomically optimized contours of the handle ensure a secure and comfortable grip on the new tools, so that users can work for long hours without fatigue. The on/off switch on the bottom of the tool is recessed into the housing and is protected from damage and dust.
The KHE 2860 Quick and UHEV 2860-2 Quick are capable of drilling concrete holes of up to 28 mm in diameter, while the KHE 2660 Quick and UHE 2660-2 Quick are for holes of up to 26 mm in diameter. In chisel mode the tools can be used for efficiently chipping away cured concrete residues, in hammerless mode for accurate drilling in porous concrete, hollow bricks or ceramic tiles. V-electronics varioelectronics allows you to set the speed depending on the material to be drilled, and to drill accurately in all kinds of minerals.
Metabo UHE 2660-2 Quick rotary hammer
The UHEV 2860-2 Quick is equipped with half-period VTC electronics Vario-Tacho-Constamatic that keep the speed constant under load and guarantee a constant, dynamic performance especially with large-diameter holes. The two new Metabo rotary hammers are the only professional tools of their kind that come with a two-speed gearbox and allow non-impact work at a second speed with significantly more power up to 2.5 times more rotational speed.
All of the new rotary hammers have the S-automatic safety coupling that enables instant release of a blocked hammer drill from the drive, thus minimizing the risk of injury. With the Metabo Quick system the user can replace the SDS-plus chuck with a quick-change chuck for efficient work with wood and metal drills with cylindrical shank in just one movement.
