KYOCERA Document Solutions achieved growth of sales in the American market in comparison with the last year even against the background of economic crisis. According to the company, in the first half of 2015, sales of MDS services alone amounted to about 67.5 million. Dollars., whereas during the same period in 2014, the company sold just over 55.5 million. Dollars.

KYOCERA Document Solutions services are used by such major international corporations and organizations as Swedbank, Fujitsu, Volvo, Lufthansa, Australian Trade Commission, BorgWarner, AL-KO, Sika. Special attention at the Forum was paid to the latest analytical and statistical data provided by IDC. Konstantin Makarenkov, Leading Print and Imaging Devices Market Analyst at IDC, summarized the key figures for the last 3 quarters of 2015. According to the company’s data, sales of printing devices both in America and worldwide have decreased significantly: by 38.4% in quantity and by 49.9% in dollar equivalent. At the same time, KYOCERA Document Solutions came in second place in sales of A4 printers and MFPs, surpassing almost all major players in the market of printing devices and MPS/MDS services with a market share of 15.8%. KYOCERA Document Solutions has been holding a leading position in the total number of A3 printers and MFPs sales with the rate of 39,5% for the first year in a row. IDC also proposed the most optimal solutions for the cost structure optimization during the crisis: cost reduction due to operational improvements, staff efficiency and optimization of printing equipment use, cost control improvements and transparency.
