Capture the essence of the event
So how do you fit such a powerful zoom lens into a camera that fits easily into a coat pocket?? This is made possible by a new three-step telescopic lens design S8600, which automatically folds away if you don’t use the camera for a while, resulting in a slim, stylish and most importantly, truly compact camera.
In use, the zoom range of 25-900mm equivalent helps photographers capture everything, from wide-angle landscape shots to high-definition sports and wildlife photos. The S8600 even features an extra macro mode which focuses down to 1cm, letting you get incredibly close shots without any loss of detail.
And to aid the lens, the camera is equipped with optical image stabilization with sensor shift to eliminate any kind of blurring in the picture. And if 900mm isn’t enough, you can also use Fujifilm’s Intelligent Digital Zoom technology to increase the zoom to an incredible 72x equivalent to 1,800mm .
High Speed Shooting
Other features of the S6800 are not inferior to the zoom: the auto focus time is reduced to 0.4 seconds, the standby time after switching on 1.7 seconds and only 1.2 seconds interval between shots, which in total ensures easy, convenient and high-speed photography.
Scene Recognition Auto SR Auto identifies the subject to be shot Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Night Portrait or Backlit Portrait and adjusts the settings for optimum results, so there is even less chance of missing the perfect moment.
And for the most important dynamic shots, the burst mode is set directly on the main mode dial to shoot up to 40 shots at 8 frames per second in full resolution.
Separate HD video function
Video enthusiasts will also love the S8600. Thanks to the built-in mini-HDMI connector, you can easily connect the camera to your TV and share your pictures with your friends on the big screen in 720p HD 16:9, 30 fps . What’s more, a separate video shooting button allows the user to forget their camcorder and shoot great clips directly on the camera!
Artistic effects are easy
In addition to the fully manual P, S and M modes, the S8600’s Advanced Filter Adv function can be selected right on the mode dial, giving you a choice of 10 artistic effects, including High Key, Low Key and Toy Camera breaking, vignetting .
These are joined by such effects as Pop Color bright colors, enhances contrast and saturation , Miniature blurred diorama effect , Partial Color saves one color, replacing the other colors with black and white , Soft Focus soft focus , Cross Screen radiant glow effect , Dynamic Tone dynamic tones and Fish Eye ultra wide-angle lens effect .
