The Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ200 is the perfect travel companion.

Panasonic has added a new model Lumix DC-TZ200 to its line of compact cameras from its “Travel Zoom” series. The main feature of the new camera is a large one-inch sensor, the presence of stabilization and high-quality Leica lens with 15x optical zoom. The camera also has built-in Bluetooth and the ability to shoot 4K 30/24 fps video

The Lumix DC-TZ200’s high-sensitivity one-inch MOS sensor has 20MP resolution and, when combined with the Venus Engine, produces detailed, high quality images with accurate and natural color reproduction. The sensor sensitivity range is from ISO 125 to 12800 with the possibility of expanding in the lower limit to ISO 80 and 100, and in the upper limit to ISO 25600.

The electronic-mechanical shutter allows shutter speeds from 60 to 1/2000 sec with a mechanical shutter, and from 1 to 1/16000 sec with an electronic shutter. Maximum continuous shooting speed is 10 fps in AF-S mode and 6 fps in AF-C mode, with a clipboard capable of recording 28 RAW files and 85 JPEG files before slowing down.

The Lumix DC-TZ200 uses a 49-point contrast AF system with DFD Depth From Defocus technology that improves the speed and accuracy of the AF system. Additional modes such as Face/eye detection, Precision AF, Single AF, and Advanced Low Light AF help you get superior results in a variety of shooting conditions.

LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with a focal length of 24-360 mm Eq.35mm and a 15x optical zoom meets Leica’s strict standards and delivers high optical quality. Lens construction consists of 11 elements in 13 groups, including five aspherical lens elements, three low-dispersive lens elements and one low-dispersive aspherical lens element. The aperture consists of 7 rounded blades that form a fairly even aperture with a maximum aperture of f/3.3 at 24 mm and f/6.3 at 360mm. The minimum focus distance is 3 cm.

The lens provides extremely low distortion, high resolution, and minimal artifacts such as chromatic aberration, false outlines, and flare. At the same time, high image quality is achieved at the entire focal length range and over the whole frame. The one-piece aluminum die-cast body makes it lightweight and strong enough. Thanks to the grooved rubberized front grip and rubberized thumb rest on the back, the Lumix DMC-TZ200 rests comfortably and securely in your hand, with the built-in electronic level ensuring accurate vertical and horizontal alignment during shooting.

Sophisticated controls help you quickly and easily set the desired parameters, simplifying the process of working with the camera. On top, the standard P/A/S/M mode dial, video start button, zoom lever and function dial. At the front of the lens there is an adjustment ring which allows you to change the aperture, set the desired shutter speed and adjust the focus, depending on the situation.

Completing the picture are nine function buttons, so you can set up quick access to the functions you use most often. Four of them are mechanical and placed on the back of the body, while the other five are touch-sensitive and accessible through a separate menu on the screen.

The camera is equipped with micro HDMI and micro USB connectors and supports standard SDXC memory cards. Power comes from the DMW-BLG10, which holds 370 shots and can be recharged directly via micro USB using an external power source if necessary.

For more comfortable shooting, the Lumix DMC-TZ200 is equipped with an electronic video viewfinder and a capacitive touch screen with LiveView mode. 3″ screen diagonal and 1″ resolution.24 million dots. Touch screen lets you simply tap to select focus point, control shutter release and zoom, and easily navigate major menu sections.

Electronic video viewfinder has a resolution of 2.33 million. points, 100% field of view and 0.53h. The built-in eye detection sensor automatically focuses when your eye gets close to the viewfinder and shuts off the viewfinder when you switch to shooting with the monitor.

In addition, a new “Eco 30fps” mode is available for the monitor and video dial, which halves the frame rate of the display, saving you battery life significantly. Use it for still images, such as landscapes and architecture, but shoot more action shots using the standard 60 fps shooting mode, which is set by default.

The Lumix DMC-TZ200 also has a built-in stereo microphone for high-quality sound recording and a built-in flash. Flash output in auto ISO mode is 0.6-6.8m in Wide, and 1-3.9m in Tele.

Software processing in the Lumix DMC-TZ200 includes a large array of creative filters and modes, including 4K Photo, Post Focus and Focus Stacking. In addition to these, the camera got a black and white film simulation mode L.Monochrome, as well as new Sequence Composition , Auto Marking and Focus Composition modes.

Sequence Composition mode allows you to combine multiple 4K photos into a single photo, while Auto Marking mode lets you quickly select the best photo from a series of photos using special markers, and finally, Focus Composition allows you to create a single photo from a series of photos with different focus points.

Lumix DMC-TZ200 shoots 4K/30 fps and 4K/24 fps video at bitrates up to 100Mbps. Full HD high speed shooting at 120 frames per second is also available. Camera has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 LE mode, which allows you to quickly transfer photos to external devices, remotely control the camera with a smartphone, as well as add geotags to your photos.
