The Aybolite of the XXI century. Icelandic moss heals all ills. What?

My name is Tofig Askerov, I’m in my sixth decade. I live in St. Petersburg. I am a journalist by profession, but as it happens, now I collect this amazing medicinal plant, which is called Icelandic moss. Unfortunately, very few people know about this extremely resilient lichen, preferring to treat their diseases with expensive imported chemicals. So I had to think of my life’s main occupation, which resulted in this review.

Icelandic moss Cetraria Icelandica pharmacological name, Cetrariae lichen formerly: Lichen islandicus .

One day, vacationing in Karelia, I went to a neighbor for some business and saw on the floor, on an open paper dried plant, a rather unusual shape.

– What kind of grass is that??

– “Oh, it’s a wonderful plant,” said the neighbor. – Icelandic moss is popularly called.

– It doesn’t look like moss. What’s it for??

I got interested and started collecting information about this plant. It turned out that Icelandic moss is not a moss at all, but a lichen, that is, a sort of natural hybrid, a compound of two completely different organisms: a fungus and an algae. Each, so to speak, progenitor, brought to the common offspring its own set of properties, and the result was a completely new plant, unique in its content of active substances and trace elements.

It’s like when perfectly ordinary people have a genius child. The uniqueness of this plant is that it is used for a variety of preventive and therapeutic purposes. This is what moss looks like in nature – it grows in small islands, pell-mell with other mosses and plants.

Icelandic moss on the photo is yellow-green carved leaves in the center gray “corals” growing around, sometimes mistaken for Icelandic moss, too :

To peel at least one kilogram of moss from impurities you should spend not less than 7-8 hours, it’s very difficult, laborious and tedious work. Here’s a photo of a small pile before the bulkhead:

Here’s a picture of recycled moss: on the left side is garbage, and on the right side is pure plant, which is about 30 grams when dry:

I harvest Icelandic moss in the forests of Karelia and the north of the Leningrad Region, far away from big industrial centers and companies. And it’s very important, because Icelandic moss actively absorbs all sorts of industrial “crap” in the atmosphere.

I have found small islands of this plant about 40 km from St. Petersburg, but I do not recommend to collect it so close to the city – it will do more harm than good! At first I was not interested why exactly people order this plant, especially at first there were not many clients. But gradually their number grew, the geography of my mailings expanded, the number of questions I was asked increased, which I could not answer.

About a year ago I started asking my customers myself: how did you know about Icelandic moss and about me what are you going to treat, who and in what way where did this recipe come from, and so on and so forth. And I specifically asked her to let me know the results afterwards.

Of course, not everyone sent me their reports, so to speak, or informed me of the results and. Well, their silence, in my opinion, is an indirect confirmation of the positive effect – when people get rid of their problems, they try to forget about them quicker.

Nevertheless, some of my clients, especially those who came to me further, willingly and in detail shared their experiences and their observations and conclusions. Interestingly, many of them knew about the healing properties of Icelandic moss from their older, now-gone relatives.

Some had a mother who kept her mother’s recipes and treated her grandchildren for bronchitis, some had a grandmother who helped her children with their stomachs, and some had a grandfather, a military paramedic, who used moss to treat pus-filled wounds in soldiers.

I have accumulated a lot of such examples. But still, the most valuable testimonies were those in which people reported either cured themselves with the help of Icelandic moss, which I collect, or cured someone close to them. I have more and more reports like this, direct and indirect. Soon there will be enough of them to fill a small book. Here are just some of them:

– Once I got a call from a woman in the Astrakhan region, she wanted to order moss from me. I asked her to make a request to my e-mail address. She told me that there was no Internet in her village. I wondered how she knew about me. From an acquaintance from Astrakhan, a woman replied. And what was it in Astrakhan?? It turned out that her acquaintance had cured her father from tuberculosis

– And at the end of 2008 I got a call from another woman from St. Petersburg who had bought moss from me in spring. This time she ordered a kilo. I asked her for what purpose? Turns out her husband has open tuberculosis. So, after six months of regular intake of decoction of moss, the tests gave negative results! Repeated checks confirmed success

– Recently my husband had a scooter accident and broke his jaw in two places with a dislocation. Usually these fractures don’t heal without medical help, but become inflamed and fester.

We didn’t know about the fractures, we thought he was just bruised, swelling would go down and that was it, so we didn’t get to the doctor until 2 weeks after the injury. The doctor, after examining my husband, was very surprised and asked what kind of medicine my husband was taking. And the doctor was surprised because the first time in his practice Clinic of maxillofacial surgery , he encountered that complex fractures united, in fact, by themselves, without intervention and with no inflammation and other complications are usual in such cases. “You have a very strong immune system and there’s nothing for me to do here,” the doctor said.

And my husband didn’t take anything except decoction of Icelandic moss! Since then he no longer doubted the life-giving power of the plant!

And the last doubts were gone after the school where our children go, was closed for quarantine: almost all students came down with flu, and our kids did not care!

So send another kilo of your moss.

Nadezhda S., New York region

– Let’s drink an infusion of Icelandic moss for immunity support. But there are specific diseases. I personally suffer from psoriasis. We read that moss helps with skin diseases and stomach diseases. Both my husband and I have sore stomachs. My youngest son has a stool problem.

After taking yagel for only 20 days, we got the following results: my son’s stools have normalized completely, he goes to the toilet by himself every day, although before we had to force him to 2-3 days with a scandal. My psoriasis has calmed down, the affected areas have become pink, no thick scales are formed, t.e. clear improvement. My husband drank a lot of soda because of stomach pain, now he does not drink it at all. Such miracles!!!

Our prescription

: 1 tablespoon of moss pour two glasses of cold water, bring to a boil, but do not boil. Leave to cool, strain and drink 100 ml three times a day. Children ate dried moss with honey. A 1 kg of Icelandic moss in ground form is a little more than 2 and a few mayonnaise buckets. I am 36 years old, my husband is 41 and my child is 8 years old.

– I have two kids who are 5 and 4 years old. Both are often ill and bronchitis, almost any sniffles, immediately descends into the bronchi and terrible cough… With whistling, with wheezing. The doctors diagnosed my eldest with asthma at the age of 3, you can imagine my shock. We watched the doctor for a long time, we spent a lot of money on medicines and doctors, but in the end we got nothing good, the immune system is not strengthened, we get sick often and constantly with bronchitis… That was not a fun thing to do.

I brewed moss in a thermos overnight and gave them both 2 tablespoons 3-4 times a day before eating, in the morning on an empty stomach, then 20 minutes later fed, also during the day and evening.

We are usually sick for a long time, and almost always without antibiotics do not do, fever, cough. And then literally in 4 days there was no cough, so the residual effects, expectorant… For me it was just a miracle, considering that except for Icelandic moss and mucaltin, I did not give anything. Usually they are antibiotics, antiviral drugs, cough syrups, inhalations… And here it’s just grass and mucaltin.

You can imagine my delight, now I recommend it to everyone… And I will definitely buy more from my paycheck for myself and for my mother, she has bronchial asthma. Thank you for the herb.

Olga A., Tyumen.

– I am 29 years old, diagnosed with infiltrative tuberculosis of the right lung in the cure stage. I would like to consolidate the result of treatment and prevent relapse.

The recipe is usual, advised by the treating doctor phthisiatrician

.

For the preparation of the broth, 2 teaspoons of raw materials are poured into 2 cups

Cold water, bring to a boil and strain. Take in small portions repeatedly throughout the day.

– My 3 year old son has asthmatic bronchitis. I know about Icelandic

Moss long ago, from the same disease I was successfully cured by my mother, who in turn learned about this miracle plant from herbalists in the Samara region.

Alena D., New York region, m. Chekhov.

– As promised, I report that I took a full course of dysbacteriosis treatment with Icelandic moss. The problems that were bothering me have disappeared. I hope the result will be persistent. The skin on my face is also getting lighter and softer, and inflamed areas are quickly healing and resolving, pimples are the result of using frozen decoctions of Icelandic moss, which I wipe my face with. So you can refer to my experiences with moss.

Thank you again, good luck and good health to you!

Lena N., New York, Zelenograd.

– I used to give my daughter 14 years old decoction of Icelandic moss for bronchitis treatment. She read somewhere and before going to bed she wiped her daughter’s face with it because she had age-related pimples. So after a couple of weeks pustules literally dissolved, and now my daughter is just happy. And the coughing became better. Thank you!

Nina L., Irkutsk.

– Be sure to drink moss in the winter to prevent colds whew, not once got sick . Once I forgot a pan with moss on a lit stove thank God, the fire was small . The result was a jelly-like mass, with which I did not know what to do at first. Then suddenly, on a hunch, I put it on my face. You won’t believe it, but it seemed to me that my skin absorbed this gel rich in moisture and trace elements with some smacking!

She had a slight feeling of tightness, which passed quickly. My face immediately became smoother and younger! Started experimenting with the concentration of “moss. The thicker it is, the more it feels tight. Most of all I liked to smear myself with gel, which consistency resembles liquid soap. So now I have to brew two portions of moss – one to drink, the other – for cosmetics. My girlfriends were envious of my blooming appearance, so I had to tell them the secret of my inhuman beauty.

Thank you so much for the moss and me, of course, for coming up with such a great cosmetic tool!

Ludmila V., St. Petersburg.

I get messages like that quite often. Here are two very “fresh ones:

– I am 47 years old now. In the army, and I served in Transbaikalia, I got chronic asthmatic bronchitis, which later developed into asthma. I suffered more than 10 years, then one granny in the village advised to drink Icelandic moss in this recipe: at night to boil a glass of milk, throw there a half – two tablespoons of ground Icelandic moss, the milk will become greenish color. To soften the bitterness added a spoonful of honey. Drank before bedtime. The course is 3 months. Half a year break. And again I had to take three months’ worth of medication. You won’t believe it, it’s been fifteen years since I forgot about my disease. Later my sister got cured and now I take moss for my nephew in Gomel.

Vladimir, Gatchina.

– My husband, and he is almost 70 years old, had adenoma of the prostate in such a developed and neglected form that the doctors refused to do surgery, citing the fact that at this degree of disease and contributing factors to surgery makes no sense and is simply dangerous. And in a frank conversation they told me to be mentally prepared for the worst. “Your husband is a dead man” – that was their verdict.

We heard about Icelandic moss by chance and decided to try it, as we had nothing to lose. In May 2009, bought a kilogram of moss, my husband brewed it overnight in a thermos and drank it regularly. Three weeks later our blood values normalized, we began to feel better, our strength and spirits improved.

And four months later, the doctors performed a successful surgery. No complications. Now we wonder if we rushed into surgery?

By the way, I myself have long forgotten about heartburn, which used to plague me for any reason. Also, Icelandic moss helped me quit smoking! After hours of picking the wet plant from various impurities, I, willy-nilly, breathed its fumes, which seem to have produced some changes in my lungs that made my 40-year-old habit more and more unpleasant time after time. And on January 1, 2008 I smoked my last cigarette. I am now free from this slavish and meaningless addiction. If you’re interested, feel free to contact me with your questions at my email address – I’ll answer them all.

Sometimes I think that when buying a foreign medicine in a pharmacy, a person pays at least 95 percent of its cost for the brand, advertising, packaging, customs, etc., etc. That is, out of a hundred Dollars spent in the pharmacy, only five Dollars were given directly to the drug! And these five Dollars for what? For chemistry!

I sell the natural ISLAND MOH, which I gather EXCLUSIVELY in ecologically clean places of Northern Ladoga.

By the way, GOST 13727-68, which describes in detail the procedures and parameters for collecting and harvesting Icelandic moss AS MEDICAL FERRY, has not been repealed and is still in force. This is the state standard, and I use it as a guide when procuring ISLAND MAH, an amazing medicinal plant with the widest range of medicinal action.

Besides, I offer you, excuse the strange phrase, a DECORATIVE ENERGY ELEMENT for your bedroom, or nursery, or office, or medical office. Here are a few variants of this unusual object, which I called the “LIVING COUNTRY”:

The therapeutic effect of the “Alive corner” is based on the ability of Icelandic moss to quickly absorb water, saturate it with active substances of various groups and compounds, evaporate moisture into the atmosphere of the room, destroying various types of pathogenic microflora. At the same time in your city apartment you enjoy the fresh smell of the real forest.

In order to “start the process”, it is enough to spray Icelandic moss with water from any sprayer, such as the one used for ironing laundry – as shown in the top photo.

Note: Like all lichens, Icelandic moss is an exceptionally resilient and viable organism that endures the extreme conditions of the North without damage, while accumulating biologically active substances necessary for plant growth, reproduction and propagation.

Actually, I have lots of interesting ideas of how to use Icelandic moss! So stay tuned on the site, soon I will be able to offer other unique products created by me on the basis of this amazing plant.

In the meantime, I offer you dry uncut whole Icelandic moss in different degrees of purification, and different sizes by order of the panel “Living Corner”.

I am interested in creating a regional network of distributors of ISLAND MHA and products based on it, as well as partnerships with drug manufacturers and pharmacy chains.
