Operation, features of programs and modes.

Very nice device – light and even “playful” design immediately lifts your spirits. In addition to the Warming, there are 6 programs: 2 automatic and 4 customizable by time. In the programs Palov and Buckwheat the cooking time is determined on the basis of the recipe.

The advantageous feature of this multicooker is the absence of a “menu” button and an arrow running around the display, which stops at one of the programs each time the “menu” button is pressed. In this multicooker, each program has its own button with the program name in American and English.

No “start” button: you press only the program button, the display will show the default cooking time, then you can set if the program provides for this the cooking time, and then the cooking process begins. In our opinion, this solution is successful and makes the device easier to use.

And the display only shows the selected time or countdown. I want to note that the display is bright and easy to read, even in the dark, because the numbers on it are highlighted in red. In the multicooker there are no programs for cooking yogurt, frying and express cooking.

The bowl of the multicooker is the thinnest and lightest among the tested devices, but its bottom is honeycombed, which helps better distribute the heat and increase the rigidity of the bottom. Note that this is the only bowl with a capacity of 4 liters: the smallest in the dough. The coating is quite resistant, it could not be damaged during the test.

The inner panel of the lid of the multicooker is not removable, which we noted as a design flaw.

Scores:

Control: 8 points – minus 2 points for the lack of temperature setting and for the need to monitor the cooking time in the programs Grockey and Pilaf.

Interface: 9 points: minus 1 point for small inscriptions on the buttons.

Selection of programs: 7 points: minus 3 points for no program Fry, Fast express cooking, Yogurt.

Price/performance ratio.

The average price on the Internet from 1,990 to 2,199 Dollars, which can even be considered a price/quality ratio in favor of quality! Functionality, ease of operation, configuration and a very decent manufacturer – all this suggests that on a modest budget is a very, very good choice.

The Rice Test

For cooking cereals there is a buckwheat mode, and we cooked rice in it. Our 200 grams of rice cooked for half an hour, giving it the perfect consistency.

Score : 10 points out of 10.

The test “Baking”

Taking into consideration the low power of the multicooker, we immediately set the baking time to 1 hour and 10 minutes, but at the end of an hour we checked if the cake was ready, and yet we left it to “finish” for the last 10 minutes. As a result we got a very good quality sponge cake which is rising, evenly baked, and – importantly – without condensation drops: all excess moisture flows into a small container with a moisture trap.

Score: 10 points out of 10.

Roasting test

There is no separate program for frying in this device. In this case usually helps program Baking or some other and frying is done with open lid. However, in this model, the bowl is in tight contact with the heating element only when the lid of the multicooker is closed. Therefore, it is impossible to fry or cook anything with the lid open.

Finding this design feature, we tried roasting chicken with the lid closed: 20 minutes on one side and 20 minutes on the other side. It worked, the chicken is nicely browned. But this method can not be called convenient: you can not watch the frying process, and slowly. But if you don’t have a frying pan handy and want to fry something or you need to fry vegetables for soup or pilaf , then you can. But roasting with the lid closed “saves” from splashing grease, which usually happens when cooking with the lid open.

Score: 8 out of 10.
