Test of SINBO SCO-5024 multicooker

Sinbo SCO-5024 multicooker

Multicooker Sinbo SCO-5024

Very user-friendly interface in American, timer of delayed start, lightweight body, an excellent device for cooking dietary meals: dishes from cereals, soups, steam cooking, a wonderful gift for inexperienced in operating machinery person.

Multicooker

No possibility to set the time, limited choice of modes, incomplete instructions and recipe book.

Small appliances for the kitchen

Stuffed cabbage rolls. Shred the cabbage into strips and boil. In the stuffing added spices, 1 finely chopped onion and rice. Put minced meat on cabbage leaves, roll up. In the multicooker put the oil, turn on the “Fry” mode at 160 º C.

With the lid open fried cabbage rolls first, then took them out and fried onions, carrots, tomato paste, added salt, pepper, sugar. We put stuffed cabbage rolls in the multicooker, turned on the “Stew” mode for 2 hours. The result of the labor-intensive work was destroyed in five minutes with cries of “how delicious!!!”Hungry employees.

Multicooker

Charlotte. The recipe for the cake is not in the booklet, but we decided to check the work of the “Muffin” mode baking .

The biscuit dough 4 eggs, a cup of sugar and a cup of flour rose, was airy, although we didn’t whip it with a mixer. The only “but” is pale top of the pie, I would like a more reddish crust. Good!

HOW DID THE MANUAL HELP OR NOT?

The instructions give cooking suggestions, for example, when to cook with the lid open frying, pasta boiling . This is important, especially when you just master the multicooker.

But in general the manual spoils the impression of a good quality device. With the English menu it would be desirable to get an explanation of what the button means, but this is not available, as well as translation of the signs of the buttons and labels on the display.

The manual mentions buttons which are not present, e.g. “Pilaf”, but none of the words on the control panel can be translated that way. The description of mode operation begins with the words “Press the “Function” button and select a program…” but there is no button labeled “Function”. There is a “MENU” button that selects the programs, and the translation of this word as a “function” is hardly possible.

The description of the soup cooking program is puzzling: “Press the “Function” button and select the “Slow Cooking” program. But on the display there is an inscription “SOUP” – “soup”. Certainly, it is possible to understand and master this really interesting, clever and multifunctional device – we have figured out! – and after reading this test, it will not be so difficult.
