The machine is equipped with an automatic cappuccinator, which has an adjustment of the amount of foam. You can change it depending on the beverage as recommended by the manufacturer or you can make all beverages with the maximum quantity of milk foam.
Immediately after making a drink with milk, the coffee machine prompts you to set the regulator to the “easy clean” position and rinse the foam frother. Remarkably, this procedure can be carried out without emptying the milk container.
Top quality espresso and milk beverages. Espresso crema is creamy and dense. The size and capacity of the crema depends very much on what kind of milk you use. The only inconvenience we encountered when making drinks with milk was that we had to move the cup, first under the cappuccinator and then under the coffee pod.
After the test the producers told us that the metal spout of the cappuccinator, from which milk pours, can be pulled down and foam can be poured even into the smallest cup, this is a feature of De’Longhi cappuccinator.
PROGRAMMING
Your coffee machine has a My-Coffee-Function. It allows you to adjust the amount of espresso. The settings are saved in the machine’s memory.

CONTROL
This coffee machine was introduced in the middle of 2013. But it does not use the latest technology: no touch screen, which you can touch to perform all the programming. There are touch buttons on the control panel, each one corresponding to a specific operation.
The blue backlit screen in the center shows all the important information about operation, cleaning and preparing drinks. Each drink starts brewing as soon as you press the corresponding button. It is convenient that there is a button to cancel the operation, but in this case, the portion of ground coffee is lost: it goes straight into the grounds container.
Regarding the programming: changing temperature, activating specific programs – here you have to work by pressing the “Menu” and “<>” buttons alternately. I had to look in the manual at first.

Operation is very simple if you don’t want to change temperature, for example . All drinks are ready at the touch of a button. That way you don’t have to waste a single second making coffee.
And let’s mention that this coffee machine has such a function as automatic switching on at a set time. This means that the machine is “cleaned and warmed up” when you come home in the morning, without having to wait.
An interesting detail is the float in the drip tray, which tells you when it’s time to empty it.
