Tamron has unveiled a list of lenses that are compatible with the Canon EOS R, when installed with the EF-EOS R adapter. The company also previously issued a notice regarding the incompatibility of its lenses with the Nikon Z7, but this issue is still under investigation as to the cause and resolution.
The list includes the following Tamron Di and DiIIc lenses produced for the Canon EF mount:
SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD Model A041
SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 Model A032
SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 Model A025
SP 35mm F/1.8 Di VC USD Model F012
SP 45mm F/1.8 Di VC USD Model F013
SP 85mm F/1.8 Di VC USD Model F016
SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 VC USD Model F017
17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD Mode A037
70-210mm F/4 Di VC USD Model A034
Full compatibility of these lenses is guaranteed provided that the firmware is updated to the latest version. Compatibility of other Tamron lenses will be covered by a separate press release, which will be available on the official Tamron website.
I would like to know if Tamron’s list of compatible lenses with the Canon EOS R camera includes any telephoto lenses for wildlife photography?
Can you provide a link or information on where I can find Tamron’s published list of lenses compatible with the Canon EOS R camera? I’m interested in expanding my lens collection and want to make sure I choose the right ones for my camera. Thank you in advance!
