Sony SLT-A65 overview

When looking at the features of the A77 and A65 models it’s hard to find differences, but they become very noticeable when you put the cameras side by side. The difference in body size is obvious, the A65 body is also made of plastic, not magnesium alloy, as in the older model.

Other differences between the A77 and A65: the A65 monitor only rotates on two axes, the maximum shooting speed of 10 frames versus 12 on the A77, shutter speed is limited to 1/4000 s, autofocus is limited to 15 points, of which only 3 are cross. The rest of the differences concern less important parameters. There is practically no difference in image quality between the two cameras as both sensors and image processor are the same, but the price difference is noticeable. But of course we must consider that the cheaper model has a noticeably shorter life span and stamina.
