Sony expands its series of lenses for full-frame cameras with two new models – FE 200-600 mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS and 600mm F4 G Master Prime. Combined with any of the latest and fastest FE cameras, the new lenses will reliably track and accurately capture all types of moving subjects, including birds, wildlife, athletes and more.

The lens is compatible with Sony’s 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters with E mount. This allows you to increase the focal length while maintaining impressive image quality and the speed and precision of the autofocus system.
The unique optical design incorporates 24 elements, including one large-diameter aspherical, precision-machined XA lens, two Super-Low Dispersion SuperED glass lenses and three fluorite lenses.

The autofocus system uses two XD Extreme Dynamics linear motors that control a group of focusing lenses for fast, accurate autofocus and subject tracking. These motors are supported by specially developed algorithms that reduce the response time, instability and noise level.
The lens body features a variety of controls, including four focus holding buttons FHB to which additional functions can be assigned, and a Full-Time DMF switch for quick manual focus activation. In addition, the focus ring features Linear Response MF for more precise and sensitive adjustments.
The lens is also equipped with a function selector ring with the ability to switch between PRESET preset focus and FUNCTION modes, as well as a slot to install filters with a diameter of 40.5 mm, such as ND or the separately available circular polarization filter VF-DCPL1.
To withstand the rigors of wildlife or sports shooting, the new Sony 600 FE F4 GM OSS is made of rugged magnesium alloy and has multiple seals in the body to prevent moisture and dust from entering.
