Sigma is a major independent lens manufacturer. Unlike many other firms, it has not abandoned the production of lenses with constant focus – in today’s review there are such models. We can also mention a very low price for a lens of this class, having a very attractive design. Sigma’s super-telephoto lens is slightly larger than other models, but in this class size and weight are of secondary importance, as it can’t be replaced anyway…

Despite its moderate price, this lens offers excellent photo quality. Can be used with teleconverters APO EX Tele Converter 1.4x and 2x .

Focal length for the APS-C format: 750 mm in 35 mm equivalent. The very low price for a lens in this class is attractive in and of itself, but beyond that important factor, the lens is also quite interesting.

Its design has proven its worth over the years, and has been proven time and again in a wide variety of conditions. Quite fast and silent focusing somewhat lags behind the leaders of the latest generation of tele-optics, but in most cases this is unnoticeable. The frame has a tripod mount.

The Sigma super-telephoto lens is slightly larger in size, but for this class size and weight are of secondary importance, since there’s nothing to replace it with anyway. The optical design of this lens meets modern requirements with low chromatic aberration and sufficient image contrast. The lens can be used with teleconverters.
