SIGMA President Kazuto Yamaki explains the new vision and lenses. SIGMA’s new concept is based on rethinking the relationship between photographer, lens and image. SIGMA gets away from the conventional division of lenses into professional and amateur. SIGMA lenses are now available in three thematic categories: Art, Sport and Contemporary.

Photo lenses

Developed with a focus on high optical performance and expressive power, the Art lens lineup delivers outstanding levels of artistic quality. In addition to shooting landscapes, portraits and still lifes, Art lenses are great for studio photography, architecture, stargazing, underwater photography, etc.d.

Sport lenses can capture fast-moving subjects even at a distance. This high-performance line of lenses also offers a number of features to help the photographer in demanding shooting conditions. In addition to sports photography, these lenses are ideal for shooting nature, birds, wildlife, as well as airplanes, trains, racing cars and more.
