Sigma has released another firmware update for Canon EF’s Art Series lenses, which adds chromatic aberration correction compatibility and makes several lens improvements. New firmware has also been released for the MC-11 EF-E.
Major changes and improvements for Canon EF lenses :
1. The update provides compatibility with Canon’s chromatic aberration correction function for cameras that allow you to correct the optical characteristics of installed lenses.
2. Fixes the phenomenon of anomalous images or errors appearing when using lenses with chromatic aberration correction enabled.

4. For SIGMA 100-400mm F5-6 lens.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary CANON the update fixes the phenomenon that the autofocus speed sometimes becomes unstable.
Major changes for the MC-11 EF-E converter:
Converter update adds support for all of the above lenses.

Make sure you’ve updated to SIGMA Optimization Pro to Ver. 1.4.1 or newer for Windows and Ver. 1.4.0 or newer for the Macintosh.
