Sigma has released new firmware version 2.00 for the 24-105 mm F4 DG OS HSM | Art Canon lens, as well as new firmware version 1.18 for the MC-11 EF-E converter. Lens firmware adds compatibility with Canon Aberration Correction, and converter firmware adds compatibility with a number of lenses.
Firmware 2.00 for 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM | Art Canon lens. Major changes:
-Compatibility with Canon’s aberration correction function has been added, allowing you to correct the optical characteristics of the installed lens.
-Fixed the phenomenon of abnormal images or errors appearing when aberration correction is enabled in Canon.
Firmware version 1.18 for the MC-11 EF-E converter. Main changes:
-Added compatibility with SIGMA Cine SIGMA 105mm T1 lens.5 FF EF with FF High Speed Prime Line..
-Added compatibility with the SIGMA 24-105 mm F4 DG OS HSM | Art lens for Canon with the latest Ver.2.00.
Note
Before updating the firmware using the SIGMA USB DOCK, please make sure that you have updated the SIGMA Optimization Pro to version 1.4.1 or newer for Windows and Ver.1.4.0 or newer for Macintosh.
