Samyang announces new MF 85mm F1 lens.8 ED UMC CS, which has manual focus and aperture settings, and will be available for Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon M and Micro 4/3 mounts.
The optical design of the new lens has 9 elements in 7 groups, including one low-dispersed element and one element with a high refractive index. This design achieves sharp images with minimal distortion and low chromatic aberration. In addition, all elements are coated with a multi-layer antireflection coating that suppresses glare and ghosting.
The lens diaphragm consists of nine blades and is adjustable from f/1.8 to f/22. The minimum focus distance is 0.65 m and the maximum magnification is 0.17h. The lens also supports 62mm filters. Lens weights and dimensions vary depending on the camera used.
Price and availability
