Samyang Announces New 85mm F1 AF Lens.4 AF for Canon EF mount. Smooth focusing and superb bokeh effect with detailed resolution in the center of the frame. High image quality is achieved by using the latest Samyang technology in lens design. The lens is lightweight at just 485 g, for maximum portability and ease of use.

The optical design consists of 9 lens elements in 7 groups, including one hybrid aspherical element. All elements are made of high quality optical glass with Ultra Multi Coating, which enhances optical transmission by effectively suppressing flare. The lens aperture has nine blades and is adjustable from f/1.4 to f/16. 77 mm filter installation is also supported

The autofocus system uses a linear supersonic LSM motor which provides fast, accurate and silent autofocus. The minimum focusing distance is 0.9 m. The lens is also designed with o-rings to keep out moisture and dust, enabling photography in adverse weather conditions. The lens mount is made of chromium-plated metal and has gold-plated contacts for improved signal conductivity.
