Samsung Electronics becomes world leader in sales of professional displays for Digital Signage for the 7th consecutive year

New York, April 22, 2016. – For the seventh consecutive year, Samsung Electronics has maintained its leadership in the number of professional displays sold worldwide. Sales figures recently released by display technology expert IHS, an independent analyst firm, confirm that Samsung continues to be the leader in this segment, holding the top spot since 2009.

Successful sales results in 2015 indicate that the solid technological foundation laid by the company in recent years continues to work as a driver of strong growth. According to the IHS technology report “Public Space Display Market in Q1 2016,” Samsung has 28.8% of the global professional display market by number of units sold.
