Review of the split-system Aeronik Standard ASI-09HS1

ASI-09HS1 is new on/off type split system in the Standard range of Aeronik. This is a compact and lightweight air conditioner with a cooling capacity of 2.6 kW, unpretentious and low cost. For a model developed a stylish new design of the indoor unit – with a sleek and hygienic streamlined body. ASI-09HS1 has a heat pump function, so it can be used not only for cooling but also for heating. It can also dehumidify the air or improve air circulation to prevent it from stagnating. The split system is equipped with a block of filters that purify the air in the room.

Model description

The model features 3D-Airflow air distribution technology, where moving shutters of indoor unit optimally distribute the air in the room. ASI-09HS1 can work in high performance mode to quickly cool or heat to a set temperature, on or off. When heating, the unit does not start the fans immediately, but first lets the heat exchanger warm up so that the air flow is warm immediately hot start function .

Built-in timer allows you to set the time of switching on the split-system within 24 hours – for example, you can set the start of air conditioner shortly before the owners return home to prepare a comfortable temperature for their arrival. There is also a restart function – the automatic switching on of the device in a given mode after a power failure in the electric system. To make maintenance of the model easier it was equipped with self-diagnostic function: in case of malfunction the split-system will inform the owners about the problems in operation.

Operate the model with the remote control included in the kit. If necessary, the controls can be locked so that children cannot use the remote control.

The ASI-09HS1 supports the outdoor unit’s heat exchanger defrosting function for cold weather cooling operation, and can also be equipped with an optional “winter kit” for low outdoor temperature operation.
