Review and testing of the Canon EF 35/1 lens.4 L

One of Canon’s most “lauded” lenses. Many photographers consider it a must to have three “L” fixes in their arsenal: EF 35/1.4L, EF 85/1.2L and EF 135/2.0L. Canon EF 35/1.4 L USM – the first lens with fixed focal length if you don’t count the almost “obligatory” Canon lens

EF 50/1.8 II

I bought. Whereas on “cropped” cameras the 35mm focal length is closer to “normal” – 56mm, on full-frame DSLRs Canon EF 35/1.4L is a “moderately wide-angle” lens.

It was easy to refuse the first option, but I struggled long and hard between the last two… As a result, the zoom’s versatility and, let’s face it, nice focal lengths lost out to the aperture ratio and, more importantly, the sharpness “across the field” of the.

Canon EF 35/1.4 L USM came on the market in December 1998. Compared to most L-series lenses, the Canon EF 35/1.The 4L is a long-lived model, which proves its relevance, quality and popularity among users.
